Such Is Life University Radio: The DJ Series Kicks Off With Sean Vu!

My name is Sean Vu, I am a open-format DJ based out in Los Angeles. Open format means that I curate off multiple genres, but I have a personal preference of all things Hip-Hop.

From the EM-CEE'ing, to graffiti, and just all things hip-hop I absolutely adore all artforms that abide with it. Some of my favorite artists at the moment is k.dot, tyler the creator, schoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad, and JID. In no particular order of course (don't believe in a top 5, the needle is always moving!) I started DJing during the pandemic and have been DJing on and off now for roughly 5 years.

I am in love with my craft, I definitely feel like I've clocked in my 10,000 hours plus, but It really isn't about that. The music just speaks to my soul, and I'm happy to hopefully be able to share a part of me to you in the most humanely way possible.

Such as Lafayette and Sachi, I believe that the creative soul is intertwined with just being a human being. We are all lost at some point in our lives, but I genuinely feel like the arts we share with each other brings us to even ground and a state of homeostasis! My goal is to share bits and pieces of myself through mixing or just music in general as I consider music the most powerful language to exist.
