The blessing of being a woman that can recognize, and deeply admire, a confident woman is truly iconic.
One of my favorite compliments I’ve received from a friend was after he perused my pins on Pinterest. He said “ … you have an affinity for beautiful women.” And baby when I tell you no lies were told, I mean ZERO lies were told! I eternally blush about that compliment to this day.
Anytime one of my favorite baddies graces my timeline, I’m immediately filled with inspiration.
Quick side note, y’all are quickly going to learn that I have impeccable attention to detail, and I love taking my time to drink in art.
I find so much inspiration in women because of their confidence. It’s worn effortlessly, just like silk, creating an alluring silhouette that glides and caresses curves with every movement.
Confidence is the art of seductiveness.
Confidence is the life line of a visionary.
Confidence is boundless.
Confidence is the suffocation of shame.
Confidence is freedom.
So, whenever Beyoncé, Rihanna, Parris or Teyana drops a project of any kind I know it will never disappoint. Why? Because confidence radiates from their souls!! These women live, and work, through their truth(s) and authenticity. Doubt does not have access to them, nonetheless the people or places they’re involved in.
Let that sink in.
Now that we’re here, when’s the last time you felt truly confident?
When was the last time you sent love letters to your hopes and dreams?
When was the last time you tenderly expressed your adoration to yourself?
When was the last time you heard “ I love you” in your voice, but it was meant for you?
Vulnerability is the passionate lover of confidence.
The foundation of an unshakable love that blesses you abundantly as a reward for truly living.
So, seduce yourself.
Trace the shape of your hips with your fingertips.
Strut. Like, give the girls a show!
Make eyes with yourself in the mirror.
PUT THAT SHII ON!
And another thing, do whatever the F@$K you wanna do babes!!
… and I mean WHATEVER. FIN.
Stay hydrated & may your favorite lip balm never go missing!
Xoxxo,
Deley
