Here we are with another entry into the “For Your Rotation” series! I am really enjoying getting to share my picks with you all here.
It is the end of the Month, and we are already at the halfway point of the year. This year is moving by fast, a little too fast lol. One thing I always look forward to is getting to share what I have been listening to, and getting to check out what you all have been listening to as well! All of our weeks can fluctuate depending on what’s happening, so let me know what has been going on for you all!
Art can be the loudest vessel of expression, don’t let anyone take that away from you.

For Your Rotation! (May 29, 2025)
Mick Jenkins - 007
Released in 2023, Mick Jenkins has continuously shown us why his pen game is unmatched. This song is a good example of his ability to blend his creativity with amazing production while still maintaining substance within his songs. Mick is one of my personal favorite artists, so this song is a definite recommendation! This song is from his 2023 album The Patience, with the deluxe version released in 2024.

EARTHGANG - LaLa Challenge
Released in 2019, this song is still one I love hearing when it comes up in my playlists. EARTHGANG is one of my favorite groups/duos, and their talent speaks for itself. LaLa Challenge is a great intro to a great album from them, and this song is one I would show anyone as an intro to EARTHGANG! This song is from their 2019 album Mirrorland.

Knucks & Fimiguerrero - Nkita
Released in 2024, this is a song I find myself hitting repeat on a few times when it plays! I have enjoyed hearing from Knucks since 2020, and his style has evolved so much over the years. His work as a producer compliments his artistry, and that adds to his overall talent. If you want a good song with some bounce to it, this is for you!

Misha & Reva DeVito - Knots
Released in 2024, I was instantly hooked on this song when I first heard it, and it still makes its way into my rotations! Misha's production is something that captivated me in 2022, and I have been a fan ever since. Reva DeVito’s vocals here are amazing, so this song gets stuck in my head for a while after I listen to it. Definitely a solid recommendation I can give here! This song is from Misha’s 2024 album Radiant.

Corey G & Thurz - Recess
Released in 2025, this new release from producer Corey G and Thurz has been on repeat since it came out. Corey G’s production here has so many layers to it, and it all comes together in a bouncy wavy track! Thurz bars and style compliments this so much that I am fully hooked. If you want a great song to throw on at a party, or just to dance then this is for you!

Clairmont The Second - almost got me
Released in 2024, this is a track from Clairmont The Second that speaks to me in a lot of ways. The way he started the song off, it felt like he had a lot to get off his chest, and it was dope! His poignant lyrics sound like he knew exactly who he was directing his words at, and he definitely got his point across with the energy of this song. If you want bars with substance, this is for you!

Jakhari Smith - A Lot
Released in 2025, this was my first introduction to Jakhari Smith, and I really loved what I heard. I am intrigued with his versatility and ability to blend his lyrics with an addictive flow and production. This song is one I find myself coming back to, and one that I am really enjoying so far this year! This song is from his 2025 album FEEL, Pt. 2.
Amelia Rose - That Far
Released in 2023, this song recently came across my radar, and I’ve been loving it ever since! This songs production is hypnotic, wavy, and bouncy so it captures my attention instantly. Amelia Rose’s vocals match extremely well here, and gives me exactly what I want on this type of production. After listening to this song multiple times, I have to recommend it to y’all as well!

Danny Ali - UMADEME
Released in 2025, Danny Ali has been really consistent with his releases this year 2025. This song is a solid release from him, and it blends melodies with bars effortlessly. Based on what I have heard from Danny Ali, I see has a lot of potential to push his art to different heights. This is a song you should really check out if you haven’t!

Foggieraw & Monaleo - Prairie View
Released in 2025, this is another example of why Foggieraw is one of the most interesting artists creating music right now. His style is very unique, and the way he is able to craft his art needs to be studied! This song is also my first introduction to Monaleo, and I am definitely going to check out her discography too. If you enjoy Foggieraw’s music, or want an introduction, then this is for you!
